Where is the Facebook update?

May 28th has come and gone, yet no update to the Facebook mobile client.  Several sites and blogs were reporting that Facebook 1.6 would be available on Thursday, but it seems that once again, it just didn't happen.  I am a Facebook user and love having access to it on my Berry.  I was impressed with some of the new features in the last update, but there are still some quirks with it.  Judging from the screenshots leaked on Crackberry.com, it seems these may have been fixed.  So what happened?  My guess is there were some last minute issues that needed fixing.  Why not just wait and release a clean and stable 2.0 version?  It's like the age old question "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?".  "The world may never know."  I'm stuck in between the "I want it now" and "I'd rather wait for stable".  What about you?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.
